Devil's Lake Village

We fly high above the town to check out the lay of the land. Then we notice a young red dragon swoop down and attack the village. It begins setting fire to the buildings. Blue is High sounds the charge (with Death Metal) and dive bombs the dragon. Skelder attacks first, hitting the dragon. Clandank flies in, and leaps from his mount to the dragon, with his helmet ready. He misses, and Bo Jangles uses Ice Shard, which also misses. Rhadhar hits the dragon's neck with major damage. Friar Jim attacks, hitting and immobilizing the dragon. The fires are spreading as the battle commences.

Skelder attacks with a lightning attack, hitting the dragon with ongoing damage. Rhadhar and Bo Jangles hit the dragon. Clandank lands a mighty blow, knocking the dragon prone. The Friar hits, as well as a hippogryph who attacks the dragon. The fires continue to spread. He stands up, still blind, and blasts some fire. Clandank gets hit, but Rhadhar escapes the inferno. Skelder attacks twice, hitting once. Rhadhar attacks, dazing the dragon. Clandank and the Friar miss, and the dragon blasts again, hitting Clandank, Skelder and Rhadhar. 

Skelder attacks as the fires continue to spread. Rhadhar misses his attack, and Bo hits the dragon with Visions of Doom. Clandank misses, and Friar Jim uses Exacting Utterance to weaken the dragon, who is no longer blinded or immobilized. The dragon rises into the air, frightening 4 of the members. We are stunned, and the ones still flying fall down. We spend our next turns regaining our senses, and the dragon uses his breath blast again, hitting 3 of us, and Clandank falls unconscious. Skelder attacks, and the dragon falls dead. 

The townspeople put out the fires, but the town lies in ruins. The king comes out, thanks us, and offers a reward of a braclet. However, they don't know where it went. We heal up Clandank, and start searching. Clandank finds the bracelet. The king tells us that this is what the dragon was after. Rhadhar takes the Keen and Vorpal bracelet. The king goes on to tell us that the other dragons will be after us, but if we kill them, we will be rewarded with gold.
