It has been brought to my attention by the Privy Council that a disproportionate amount of the Kingdom's spending has been directed toward my palatial estate and personal indulgences (20,000 gps at last count).

Therefore,

The 1st Royal Decree of King Mish Mash the Forgiving:

Reduce these Kingly expenses by half, effective immediately.

I am told this will save the Kingdom 10,000 gps per year, thereby instantly balancing the budget.

It should be noted that these cutbacks were absolutely essential to the successful rulership of the Kingdom, and yet I, King Mish Mash the Forgiving, am willing to endure this hardship and forego this necessity for the greater good of my fellow men.
